Barbara Aulbach of Caledon Kennels

Barbara Aulbach is well known for her elegant Shelties with sweet dispositions. Barbara has been breeding champion Shelties in a lush quiet valley south of the Columbia river out of Scappoose Oregon for over twenty years. Vice president of the NW sheltie club for 20 years, respected across the county, American Shetland  Sheepdog  Board member.

 Barbara  takes great pride  in carefully selecting sires for her bitches to produce both beautiful and intelligent champions. Her family pet picks are a joy to live with.

Caledon dogs competing in agility include Mary Critton's SIMON, Paula Cash with ANGUS ( over 35 working titles!) and DANA,(10 working titles)

 and I have the Caledon Book of Kells, who is agility crazy at five years and showing strongly.  She qualified for the USDAA world championships in 2005!

Barb is working Mckenzie who is bouncing around the course and ready for novice.

    Barbara also runs a private one person Sheltie rescue. For the past FIFTEEN years she has rescued up to 17 shelties a year, many are owner turn ins, but a few hard cases, like the dog thrown out of a car window on Cornelius Pass Road, and the dog with maggots in the flesh. All receive the benefit of her generous caring. 

     Barb vets them, grooms them up, -you can't imagine the hours it takes to groom a two year old dog that has never been groomed-, then turns them out in her nice kennels for a holiday with her dogs to recover from their human contact.
